Is it worth buying Blackberry Playbook (16 GB) or some other tablet with the same price range? If you opt for Blackberry Playbook, what are the attractive features that make you opt blackberry playbook?
Hi Gogi
I am here with you after a little break. Today I was matching the review regarding BB play book and BB OS 2.0. I impressed a little bit. A price tag Rs 15000 for 32gb play book really impressive. Should I go for it or suggest me some other in same price tag. One more thing, APP from google play will it spot on BB os 2.0?
Thanks
Dalbir, there are many new things added with 2.0 OS. The BB playbook built quality is awesome. Battery life is very good and screen resolution is 1024 x 600 you can comfortably read ebook and PDF magazines. You can even run android apps (some not all) plus setup any email account.
Now when they say you can run any android apps it does not mean they run as is they are converted so they can work on Blackberry (BB OS is different from android). But to run such converted apps special app Android player is needed. You can view all the apps from the app world (not from Google play).
After the 2.0 was launched many BB users would download the APK files and run it on their playbook directly without installing it from PlayBook App World. RIM has also decided to remove the side load and direct APK install features that will happen in future updates. But these features will not affect normal consumers only developers.
For net surfing you can use Wi-Fi or if you have a BB handset apart from that you cannot use 3G dongles.
