A new tablet called the Milagrow TabTop PC will soon enter the Indian markets. The company Milagrow claims that this product could be seen as replacement for laptops, desktops and even other tablets available in the market.   The TabTop PC comes with a powerful processor and features that are hard to find on other tablets.

It is a known fact that desktops and laptops are powerful but desktops are not portable and laptops though portable are somewhat bulky. On the other hand tablets are light weight and easy to carry but lack a lot of features and have limited usage. The Milagrow TabTop PC was designed to make the tablet more powerful and bring features that were only available on the laptops and desktops.

With Full USB you can connect any type of storage devices apart from the microSD card slot that can hold up to 32 GB memory card. Most of the low cost tablets in India do not support built in 3G / 2G module. But TabTop PC comes with Quad Band Huawei HSPA PC embedded module that supports HSPA, GSM, UMTS, EDGE and GPRS. Milagrow TabTop PC price in India

This tablet comes in two versions 16 GB and 32 GB. The 16 GB TabTop is priced at Rs. 24,600 and the 32 GB TabTop is for Rs. 28,500.

The box pack contains: TabTop, Charger, Leather case, USB cable, earphone, warranty card and user manual.

Verdict: Even though the company claims this TabTop PC is a replacement for the desktop and the laptops, for some maybe, but not for me there are some power applications that I use and am not sure if the tablet will support it.

The cost is too high and for that price you can get a really faster desktop or a decent laptop. There is no keyboard but by using the USB port you can connect one. The USB port gives you an option to connect many devices but then you will need to invest on those. For example to get GPS on the TabTop (which is not available) you will need to buy a GPS (USB / Bluetooth) device.

The Milagrow TabTop PC cannot replace the desktop or laptop but as a tablet is has some really good features and can give some tough competition to other tablets.
