LG launched a new handset in Korea called the LG Q8. This handset comes packed with dual camera setup – a 16MP + 8MP. The handset is IP67 certified, weighs around 146 grams and price in Korea is 616,000 Korean Won ($545) – approx Rs. 35K.

This LG Q8 is running Android Nougat out of the box over a 5.2 inch screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and playing around with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. There is another screen – a secondary screen (always on) with 1040 x 160 pixels resolution.

Inside the hood there is the old (as of now) Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU. Q8 comes packed with good 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM (UFS 2.0) and users can also use external micro SD card of up to 2TB.

LG Q8 Handset is light weight at 146 grams and includes a 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 8MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. So dual cameras on the back. The front camera can shoot in 5MP resolution. This primary camera can shoot in 4K resolution.

Other unique features are IR and Finger Print Sensor, plus this Q8 is IP67 certified that makes is dust and water resistant. 4G is supported along with WiFi, NFC, GPS, BT 4.2 and LG Q8 is using USB Type C port.

LG Q8 comes with a 3000 mAh battery – this is non-removable battery and it supports QC 3.0. Coming to the price the Q8 price in Korea is 616000 Won approx Rs. 35K.
