Lava Iris X1 KitKat over quad core launched for Rs. 7999

Lava as expected has launched their first Kitkat powered handset the Lava Iris X1 also the first one in the X series. The X1 is priced at Rs. 7,999 and it comes powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor – well it’s using the Broadcom chipset. Will be available on Amazon.in tomorrow with launch day offer.

The lava Iris X1 will be available in white and black colour options. It might have already reached the stores and you will also be seeing it in online stores from tomorrow. This is a dual SIM handset with 3G support.

X1 is powered by 1.2GHz Broadcom quad core chipset running Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage along with expandable external storage support of up to 32GB. The handset sports a 4.5 inch screen with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution it’s IPS with full lamination. The screen looks perfectly black when in sleep state.

There is 8MP rear camera with BSI+ sensor and dual LED flash plus a 2MP camera on the front with video calling support. Full HD video recording is supported. Moreover the rear camera is auto focus. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. There are dual Mic for noise cancellation and OTG is supported.

The lava X1 comes with a 1800 mAh battery with adequate backup. Handset weight is 138 grams and is about 8.9mm thick. There are 3 sensors – Light, proximity and accelerometer. Lava Iris X1 is now available – box pack also includes intelligent flip cover with hall sensor that puts the handset to sleep mode automatically and thereby reduces battery consumption.

X1 will be exclusively available on Amazon.in from 27th May for Rs. 7,999 and as per launch day offer users will get 16GB ultra micro SD card for free.
