Rear Mini Display and Vegan Leather Design

The rear mini display sits below the cameras and handles quick information such as notifications and battery status. It also provides music controls and lets users display custom messages, including their name or a short line of text.

A vegan leather finish covers the back in both colour options. The camera island houses the lenses, flash and small screen in a single module, while the handset weighs 184g and measures 8.55mm thick.

Lava has also used a rear mini screen on the Virat Curve 5G. The Aura Curve 5G brings that feature to the company’s new offline-focused range.

6.67-inch Curved AMOLED Display

The front is built around a 6.67-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display. Its 2400 × 1080 resolution is paired with a 120Hz refresh rate, giving supported scrolling and animations a higher refresh ceiling than a 60Hz panel.

Lava lists 1100 nits peak brightness, 800 nits in high-brightness mode and support for 1.07 billion colours. The screen also offers 1920Hz PWM dimming. An in-display fingerprint sensor handles fingerprint unlocking.

Dimensity 7100, Android 16 and Vayu AI

The MediaTek Dimensity 7100 is a 6nm octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.4GHz. It is paired with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Up to 6GB of virtual RAM is available in addition to the physical memory.

The phone ships with Android 16. Lava promises an interface without bloatware or ads, along with 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates. Its in-house Vayu AI is also included.

50MP Sony Camera With 2K Video

The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX752 sensor with electronic image stabilisation. Video recording goes up to 2K at 30fps, and the camera app includes Night Mode, Pro Video, Dual-View Video, Motion Photo and Sports Mode.

On the front, a 13MP camera handles selfies and video calls. Screen flash is available for selfies, while the rear camera has a dedicated flash.

6000mAh Battery and 45W Charging Support

A 6000mAh battery powers the Aura Curve 5G. The handset supports 45W fast charging, while the bundled adapter is rated at 33W.

Along with the charger, the retail package includes a USB Type-C cable, a back cover and a SIM ejector pin. Lava claims up to 720 hours of standby time under its testing conditions.

Connectivity, Durability and Warranty

The Aura Curve 5G supports dual 5G SIMs, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C. An IR blaster lets it work as a remote for compatible TVs and air conditioners. Dual stereo speakers and dual-mic noise cancellation are included, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.

For protection, Lava lists IP64 dust and splash resistance, IronGuard Protection with Al-Si DT Star 2 cover glass, and MIL-STD-810H certification for drop and shock resistance.

After-sales support includes Free Service @ Home. The warranty is one year of replacement cover on the handset and six months on accessories.
