Micromax A90 could be another exciting product from Micromax, if rumors are to be believed. This handset will probably come with over 1 GHz processing power with ICS OS.
Fonearena has got some snapshot of the model which seems to be running on Android 4.0.3. The Micromax A90 will be a dual SIM handset supporting GSM SIM cards with a full touch screen display of 4.3 inches. Now as per rumors the display screen will be Super AMOLED, similar to what Samsung is offering.
Regarding processing power we do not know the exact specification but it will be more than 1GHz and could be a dual core processor. Just like the Karbonn A9 the Micromax A90 will also come with 1 GB internal storage. RAM / ROM details at this stage is not known.
Other key features that you can expect are the Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Micro USB slot and Bluetooth. The A90 will showcase a 5MP rear camera with flash, possibly with auto focus feature. The expected price tag should be lower than what Karbonn A24 will be offering.
Micromax has not officially confirmed the model or its launch date. We will have to see if this handset can come closer to the A24 from Karbonn in terms of features and price. But indeed this is good news for Indian consumers who will now be able to own affordable handsets with features that they only dreamed of.
