Lemon Mobiles have now joined the FHD smartphone bandwagon by launching Lemon A4 a quad core handset with FHD (Full HD) Screen. This dual SIM handset comes with 13MP camera and is priced at Rs. 17,999.

The price definitely seems on the higher side much more than the Micromax A116 and the recently launched XOLO Q1000. though both these handsets are with HD resolution, but there is the Wammy Passion Z with FHD screen which is cheaper at  Rs. 15K. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core chipset (cortex A7). I believe it is not turbo version because the MT6589T version is clocked at 1.5GHz.

The Lemon A4 is definitely with MT6589 and they have mentioned 1.2GHz. And hence 18K seems too much, but they have made few changes like the internal storage is 16GB and they have included the magnetic and the gyro sensors. Add to it the camera resolution is 13MP. But still it’s too pricey, would have been better if they had included the turbo chipset.

It is dual SIM running Android 4.2 OS with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. The screen is 5 inches IPS with FHD resolution. The handset is 8.5mm thick and sports a 13.1MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front.

Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. As for the sensors there is light, accelerometer, proximity, 3D magnetic and 3D gyro sensors. The battery is 1850 mAh capacity which again seem a little less than what its competitors are offering.
