First ICS powered Sony Xperia Neo L MT25i launched in China

Sony’s first Android 4.0 a.k.a. Ice Cream Sandwich powered handset the Sony Xperia Neo L (MT25i) has been launched in China. This handset is an enhanced version of Neo and Neo V that were launched last year.

The Xperia Neo L MT25i is 12.2 mm thin and weighs 131 grams. This is the first phone launched by Sony that will feature the newest android 4.0 OS. This Sony Xperia phone sports a 4 inch FWVGA touchscreen display with supported resolution of 854 by 480 pixels.

The MT25i houses the single core Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU clocked at 1 GHz. The handset has got curvy shape on the edges with 4 touch sensitive dedicated buttons. This handset supports 3G, 2G and comes with Wi-Fi, USB, GPS, DLNA and Bluetooth.

Internal memory is 1 GB of which only 310 MB can be used by the user. There is a microSD slot to hold cards up to 32 GB. With android 4.0 you get the Google services along with social networking apps like Twitter and Facebook, Messengers, Xperia Timescape, Street View, Voice search and much more.

The MT25i also comes with a 5.1 MP camera with 720p HD recording capabilities along with a front facing VGA camera. A 1500 mAh battery powers this phone.

This handset is currently available in China and will soon be launched in India.  The estimated price in India should be less than Rs. 25,000.
