Motorola India had made an official tweet about the next product, the Moto G Turbo Edition that is scheduled to be launched this week. This handset is powered by Snapdragon 615 octa core processor and comes packed with 2GB RAM/16GB storage.

The Moto G Turbo Edition sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Android Lollipop 5.1.1 runs out of the box and it will get the Marshmallow update (Android 6.0).

Inside the hood the Turbo Edition houses the MSM8939 qualcomm snapdragon 615 octa core chipset (64 bit) clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 32GB external micro SD card support.

This dual SIM handset also comes loaded with a 13MP AF camera on the rear with dual LED flash support and a 5MP front facing camera. Key features are 4G, 3G, GPS with GLONASS / A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition gets power from a 2470 mAh non-removable battery.

The #TurboMode Moto G will be unveiled this week, stay tuned. The Moto G 3rd Gen with Snapdragon 410 quad processor is currently priced at ₹12,999. So I guess this Turbo Edition could be priced at somewhere between ₹14K to ₹17K, but will be cheaper than Moto X Play.
