Kingston MobileLite Wireless G3 review – packed with 5400 mAh battery

The Kingston MobileLite Wireless G3 can help you backup your mobile data, access SD card or USB pendrive content wirelessly and you can also use this like a power bank to charge other devices. G3 is priced at under Rs. 5,000.

Design and features

The Kingston MobileLite Wireless G3 body is made of plastic, glossy white finishing on the top and matte finishing on the sides and bottom giving a premium look. The G3 is smaller in size and easier to carry.

Power button is on the front side along with micro USB port to charge the battery. On the left side there is SD card slot – you can use the micro SD card adapter if you want to use a micro SD card. Next to the SD card slot there is USB port to connect pendrives / other storage devices and share the content wirelessly.

On the right side there is RJ45 port to connect wired net and share the network connection wirelessly with other devices. And there is built in WiFi too (2.4GHz).

On the top there are 3 LED indicators – for Net, WiFi and Battery.

Press power button for few seconds to switch on the G3 and do the same to switch off. Kingston MobileLite Wireless G3 weight with non-removable battery is 192 grams.

Performance

With the Kingston MobileLite G3 you can easily share content from SD card / micro SD card using micro SD adapter and USB pen drive with other devices connected on the same network.

And yes if you have wired net connect it into the RJ45 port and share the connection with other users wirelessly.

Apart from this the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G3 can also be used to charge other devices – use it like a power bank. There is no need to power on the G3, just connect the USB cable and plug the other end into the smartphone or tablet and it will start charging that device. The G3 can charge a smartphone with 2000 mAh battery for up to 2 times output is 2A.

Battery

There is a 5400 mAh non-removable battery that takes up to 4 to 5 hours to charge and on a full charge you can use the G3 (WiFi / SD card / USB pen drive) for up to 11 hours non-stop.
