Performance

This smartphone houses the MediaTek MT6580 13GHz 32 Bit cortex A7 quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 MP GPU. Performance is good, handset does tend to lag sometimes and it does heated up lightly with heavy usage – max temperature encountered was 40 degrees.

Others

Though sound output is loud (ringtone) but when using media player or playing games the sound output was quite low. No issues with 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio and network signal.

Battery

The 2000 mAh removable battery does a very good job. You can expect about 4 to 6 hours of continuous moderate to heavy usage in a full charge.

Battery Performance

  • Running Benchmark app – 11 minutes / battery % dropped by 3 / battery temp = 35 degrees.
  • Played Asphalt 8 – for 22 minutes / battery dropped by 5% / battery temp = 40 degrees.
  • FHD video playback with full brightness (WiFi /4G on) – for 26 minutes / battery dropped by 10% / battery temp was 38 degrees.
  • Handset charging (wall charge) – 2 hour 24 minutes from 12% to 100%.

Verdict

Bingo 10 is a smart looking handset using a quad core processor and loaded with 1GB RAM. This handset supports 3G networks and the main attraction is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Camera is okay not really that great and battery backup is very good.

It’s not a bad buy for ₹4,299, but it would make sense to invest a little and buy a handset with 4G support and / or with at least a auto focus camera.

Infocus Bingo 10 is available for ₹4,299.
