Infinix is doing something different for the Infinix GT 50 Pro India launch. Instead of announcing the exact date straight away, the company is asking gamers to unlock it together.
The phone is confirmed to arrive in October 2026. The final launch date will appear once the community pushes Infinix’s online reveal meter to its target.
There is a bigger idea behind the launch too. With the GT 50 Pro, Infinix wants the GT series to become a complete gaming ecosystem, not just another gaming smartphone.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Launch Date in India and How the Reveal Works
Infinix has started a Game Together campaign on its India website. Every click from fans moves a shared reveal counter forward.
You can visit the Infinix Game Together page and tap to help move the meter. Once the community reaches the target, the official Infinix GT 50 Pro launch date in India will be revealed.
So, if you are wondering “Infinix GT 50 Pro launch kab hoga?”, the answer for now is simple: sometime in October, with the exact day depending on when the community completes the reveal meter.
From GT 10 Pro to GT 50 Pro: How the Series Has Evolved
Infinix started the GT line in 2023 with a clear focus on mobile gaming. Each generation has added more gamer-friendly hardware and features.
| Model | India Launch | Chipset | Launch Price | Main Addition | Buy Link |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Infinix GT 10 Pro | August 2023 | Dimensity 8050 | ₹19,999 | Gaming design with rear LED lights | See options |
| Infinix GT 20 Pro | May 2024 | Dimensity 8200 Ultimate | ₹24,999 | Dedicated gaming display chip and better cooling | Check deals |
| Infinix GT 30 Pro | June 2025 | Dimensity 8350 Ultimate | ₹24,999 | Shoulder triggers and wireless charging | View price |
| Infinix GT 50 Pro | October 2026 | Dimensity 8400 Ultimate | To be announced | Liquid cooling, pressure triggers and a wider ecosystem | Track listing |
The GT 30 Pro was an important step because it added shoulder triggers on the frame. These work a little like controller buttons and can be useful in games such as BGMI.

What “More Than a Phone” Means for Gamers
Infinix says mobile gaming is no longer limited to long sessions at home. People now play short matches during breaks, on the way to work, or with friends after office hours.
The GT 50 Pro is being positioned as the centre of a larger setup. The exact India ecosystem is still not fully confirmed, but the global launch gives us a good idea of what may come with it.
| Ecosystem Product | What It Does | Similar Picks |
|---|---|---|
| GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0 | Magnetic 12W cooler with bypass charging support | Magnetic phone coolers |
| GTBUDS 5 | Gaming earbuds with under 50ms latency and 50dB ANC | Low latency gaming earbuds |
| GTWATCH 5 Pro | Smartwatch with GPS and gameplay notification mirroring | GPS smartwatches |
| GT Game Controller | Dedicated gaming controller that is still under development globally | Mobile game controllers |
Latency is the delay between an action in a game and when you hear the sound. Lower latency is better for fast games. ANC, or Active Noise Cancellation, helps reduce outside noise.
Infinix has not yet confirmed whether every global accessory will be sold in India. More details are expected closer to launch.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Specifications: Global Model
Infinix has not yet shared the complete India specification sheet. The global Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G gives a useful idea of what to expect.
| Display | 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED, up to 144Hz, 4,500 nits peak brightness |
| Protection | Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, IP64 |
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, 4nm, up to 3.25GHz |
| RAM and Storage | 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 |
| Rear Cameras | 50MP main with OIS + 8MP ultra wide |
| Front Camera | 13MP |

| Cooling | HydroFlow liquid cooling with micro pump |
| Gaming Controls | Pressure sensitive GT Triggers |
| Software | XOS 16 |
| Extras | Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, IR blaster, in-display fingerprint sensor |
LPDDR5X is fast and power-efficient RAM, while UFS 4.1 storage helps apps and games load faster. OIS helps reduce camera shake, and IP64 means the phone is protected against dust and splashes, but it is not designed for underwater use.
Dimensity 8400 Ultimate and MFRC
The global phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, which is a step up from the Dimensity 8350 used in the GT 30 Pro. It is built on a 4nm process and is designed to offer strong performance without wasting too much power.
Infinix also uses MFRC, or MediaTek Frame Rate Converter. It creates extra frames between existing ones so supported games can look smoother without putting the same load on the hardware.
The global model also supports up to 144FPS in selected games. Indian buyers will naturally want to see how titles such as BGMI and Free Fire MAX perform once the phone arrives here.
HydroFlow Liquid Cooling and Pressure Sensitive GT Triggers
Heat can quickly reduce gaming performance. When the processor gets too hot, it may slow down, leading to stutters or frame drops.
The GT 50 Pro uses HydroFlow liquid cooling. A small pump driven by a piezoelectric ceramic element moves coolant around the processor at 6.5ml per minute.
The rear panel also includes a transparent window that shows part of the cooling pipeline, along with RGB Mechanical Light Waves lighting with 14 effects and 8 colours.
The upgraded GT Triggers are pressure sensitive. They support two press stages and 10 sensitivity levels, so a light press and a stronger press can be mapped to different actions.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Price in India: What to Expect
Infinix has not announced the official Infinix GT 50 Pro price in India. The global 12GB + 256GB model works out to roughly ₹38,300 after direct conversion, while the 512GB version is around ₹43,700.
India pricing could be lower. The GT 20 Pro and GT 30 Pro both started at ₹24,999, so the GT 50 Pro may land somewhere around ₹30,000 to ₹35,000. This is only an estimate until Infinix announces the official India price.

XOS 16 Adds More Gaming Features
The phone runs XOS 16. Gaming features include Hardcore Esports Mode, AI Smart Trigger, AI Voice Prompt and a voice changer for squad chats.
The Folax AI assistant can also be opened with a slide gesture on the triggers. You can read more in our coverage of Infinix XOS 16 and its AI features.
