HTC One M9 Snapdragon 810 powered with 20MP camera launched

At the MWC 2015 event, HTC launched the One M9. This handset is covered up in a full metal body running Lollipop out of the box. It houses the qualcomm snapdragon 810 octa core processor and supports 4G. Key attraction is the 20MP camera on the rear.

HTC One M9 weight is 157 grams and is 9.61mm thick. The screen is 5 inches supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. As mentioned Android Lollipop runs the show with HTC Sense 7 UI. The handset is using qualcomm snapdragon 810 64-Bit octa core processor – 2GHz quad core + 1.5GHz quad core. There is 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 128GB micro SD card support.

The M9 comes packed with a 20MP AF camera with BSI / Sapphire cover lens f/2.2 placed on the rear with LED flash and there is a front HTC UltraPixel camera with BSI sensor. Rear camera can shoot 4K videos.

Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, HTC BoomSound with Dolby audio, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and HDMI MHL 3.0. This handset gets powered by a 2840 mAh battery and as per the company it will give about 21 hours of talk time on 3G networks.

HTC One M9 price has not yet been disclosed, it will be made available Globally starting this month.
