Honor 9i unboxing and first impression

Honor launched the Honor 9i in India with an exciting price tag of Rs. 17,999. This handset comes with dual cameras on the front as well as dual cameras on the back. Overall the specs are impressive and here is the unboxing and first impression.

The box packing is unique, slide it to open up, inside you will find the handset, SIM ejector pin, user manual, data cable, travel charger 5V/2A, earphone and plastic case for protection. This is a dual SIM handset using hybrid slot – you can use 2x nano SIM’s or 1x nano SIM + micro SD card. SAR value is highest is 1.09.

Build and finishing is very good, its using metal body, also the handset gives you more screen space since the screen is 5.9 inches (2.5D curved glass) with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution – 18:9 aspect ratio. Color reproduction, touch response and viewing angles are great. There is a factory fitted screen guard on it.

There is LED notification, OTG is supported. Honor 9i comes with accelerometer, light, proximity and magnetic sensors – gyro sensor is missing. This 9i supports 4G with VoLTE, there is finger print sensor and a 3340 mAh built in battery.

The key attraction on the Honor 9i is the dual cameras on the rear – 16MP + 2MP and the front camera of 13MP + 2MP this means you can get professional bokeh style effects from both front as well as rear cameras.
