What Is the Hisense E8S?
Think of the E8S as the online counterpart to the U7SE, which Hisense launched through offline retail earlier this year. Same generation, slightly different positioning. The E8S brings ULED Mini-LED technology, a native 144Hz refresh rate, and Devialet-tuned sound to a price bracket that was previously dominated by basic QLED panels.
The panel uses Full Array Local Dimming, meaning the backlight is divided into multiple independent zones. This matters because it’s what separates a real Mini-LED TV from one that just uses the term loosely. Should You Buy the Hisense E8S?
At Rs. 57,990 for the 55-inch size, the E8S goes up against the likes of the TCL C6 and various Xiaomi Mini-LED options. What Hisense brings to the table that others in this range do not always offer together: Dolby Vision IQ, a Devialet-tuned subwoofer, and a native 144Hz panel. That is a reasonably strong combination.
The VIDAA OS is the main trade-off versus Google TV rivals. If you are heavily invested in the Google ecosystem, look elsewhere. If you want the best panel performance for movies and gaming at this price, the E8S deserves a serious look.
