Google Nexus 7 tab with android 4.3, FHD screen and quad core announced

The next generation nexus 7 tablet has unveiled, presenting the new Google Nexus 7 tablet with 7 inch FHD screen, powered by snapdragon S4 quad core processor and running on the latest Android 4.3 OS.

The new Nexus 7 weighs 299 grams and is 8.65mm thick. The screen is 7 inches with 1920×1200 pixel resolution i.e. about 323.45ppi. This tab runs on Jelly Bean 4.3 with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage. Users can choose from 16GB / 32GB version.

The Nexus 7 will also be launched with LTE (4G) variant too. But in India, probably, we might not see the 4G launch, instead we could get the 3G + Wi-Fi option. The hardware is Snapdragon S4 quad core clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 320 GPU, the performance will be much, much better than its predecessor.

There is 5MP rear camera and a front 1.2MP that can be used for video chats. Other features are HDMI, NFC, Bluetooth, 4G / 3G and Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n). On a full charge users will be able to browse the net for almost 10 hours.

The new Google Nexus 7 starts from $229 (basic). There is no word about the price and the release date in India.
