Gionee Elife E7 and E7 Mini Launched for Rs.30K and Rs. 19K

The Gionee Elife E7 that was first launched in China has now been launched in India for a price tag of Rs.29,999 for E7 with 3GB RAM/32GB storage and Rs.26,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. If the over 26K price barrier is too much for you, there is one more surprise.

The Mini version of E7, the Gionee Elife E7 Mini was also launched – it comes powered by octa core processor for a price tag of Rs. 18,999. With the E7 Mini launch Gionee has set the octa core price barrier for other brands to compete with. Moreover the Elife E7 Mini also comes with rotating camera just like the one as seen on the Oppo N1.

This handset is 9.5mm thick and weighs 150 grams. It is powered by 8274 Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. E7 runs on Amigo 2.0 OS that is based on Android 4.2. There are two options to choose from 2GB RAM/16GB storage or 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

The screen is 5.5 inches supporting full HD resolution. Gionee claims that the E7 comes with the word best camera that makes use of OmniVision professional sensor, Largan customized lens, CrucialTec customized flash and Shicoh customized camera motor.

The front camera is of 8MP resolution, rear camera is of 16MP resolution. Full HD video recording and playback is supported. Other features are 3G,NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. Battery is of 2500mAh capacity with up to 27 hours talk time.

Gionee Elife E7 for Rs.29,999 (3GB/32GB) and Rs. 26,999 (2GB/16GB).

Gionee Elife E7 Mini
The E7 Mini comes with a single 13MP camera that can be rotated 180 degrees. Single camera can be used as both front as well as a rear camera. The Elife E7 mini comes with 1.7GHz Octa core processor from MediaTek. It is a dual SIM handset with 4.7 inch screen with HD resolution. Internal storage is 16GB and RAM is 1GB.

The E7 Mini is priced at a very tempting Rs.18,999. This is definitely bad news for quad core handsets that are selling for over 16K.
