Blackberry Z3 with BB 10 OS and dual core processor launching soon

Blackberry is getting ready to launch the BlackBerry Z3 in the Indian markets this month. They will be announcing the release on 25th June. The Z3 is the next gen BB 10 device and probably will come with an affordable price tag.

The Android, Windows and iOS are the most preferred operating system in the Indian markets, BlackBerry is still here and there are many users who are loyal to this brand. However in most cases it is the price that turns out to be a disappointment for BlackBerry. With the new launch and maybe with a good price tag the company might hope to grab some attention.

The BlackBerry Z3 was launched in Indonesia and there were rumors about it being launched in India for under Rs. 11,000 price tag. Well let’s wait for the official word. On the hardware front the BB Z3 sails on 1.2GHz dual core qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8230 processor with Adreno 305 GPU.

This single SIM handset run on BlackBerry 10.2.1 OS with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB on-board storage. It sports a 5 inch screen with 960 x 540 pixels (qHD) resolution. The Z3 also comes with a micro SD slot that in turn can add more storage space of up to 32GB. Also included is a 1.1MP secondary camera and a 5MP AF primary camera with LED flash. Rear camera can shoot 1080p videos whereas the front camera can in 720p resolution.

It is a 3G phone that also supports 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) with hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC is included, micro USB 2.0 and GPS with A-GPS support. There are dual mics for noise cancellation and the built in battery is 2500 mAh (Li-ion) with talk-time of up to 15 hours.
