ZTE has launched a low cost MediaTek quad core powered smartphone with finger print scanner called the ZTE Blade A1 for a price tag of RMB 599 that comes to approx ₹6200. This handset has been launched in China and will be available from 11th December 2015.

ZTE Blade A1 is using the MediaTek MT6735 quad core processor (64 Bit) clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with Mali T720 GPU. This smartphone sports a 5 inch IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Android 5.1 is running with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 128GB micro SD card support. This is a dual SIM handset (SIM Slot + Hybrid slot). A 13MP camera is packed on the rear with LED flash and a 8MP camera on the front.

Weight with battery is 137 grams and handset is 8.9mm thick. Additional features are 4G, 3G, 2G, finger print scanner, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. The ZTE Blade A1 gets power from a 2800 mAh battery and will go on sale in China soon for RMB 599.

    1. Once upon a time Nokia was eating up nearly 100% Indian mobile market share and all other companies like Samsung, HTC,LG,Sony were sleeping. Now all of these companies, except HTC, are sleeping when it comes to CDMA smartphones with good specs. HTC is eating nearly 100% share of Indian CDMA mrkt. Its time for other brands to wake up now. Good smartphone with GSM+CDMA specs can change the whole picture. Let’s see which company is wise enough to click at this very right time. Once such phones are available from other brands, HTC willbe forced to decrease the prices to earth level. Wake up call for other companies !!!!! Wake up ant break the monopoly of HTC in CDMA segment.

  4. Nice specs, now if it comes to India for INR 6999 it would be a hit. Love the 2800 mAh battery. But why Hybrid slot..should be 2 slots plus separate for SD card.
