After the success of YotaPhone, Yota has now announced the YotaPhone 2 that will be available this month in Russia for approx Rs. 38K. No word about the exact launch dates in India, but it could happen in Q1 2015.

YotaPhone 2 is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 800 quad core processor @ 2.2 GHz and it is running KitKat 4.4 with 2GB on board RAM and 32GB storage. There is no micro SD card slot to add additional storage.

YotaPhones are unique these phone come with dual screen the primary touchscreen is 5 inches supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution – it’s an AMOLED screen and the secondary e-ink screen on the back is 4.7 inches supporting 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The YotaPhone 2 will come with corning gorilla glass 3 protection for both front as well as the back screen.

On the camera part it is with a decent 8MP auto focus camera on the rear with flash and a 2.1MP on the front. This is a single SIM handset (nano SIM slot) and weight with battery is 145 grams (8.9mm thick).

Key features are 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth. There is a 2550 mAh battery with wireless charging support. This phone will be available in Russian markets this month for RUB 33,000 that comes to approx Rs. 38K.
