XOLO had announced the Win Q900s windows powered phone in June 2014, they have now launched the android variant XOLO Q900s (with the Win missing). The Q900s runs Android 4.3 out of the box and it will get the KitKat update, the handset is priced at Rs. 9,999.

On the hardware front the Q900S houses a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor (MSM8212) with Adreno 302 GPU. Smartphone is 7.2mm thick and amazingly light weight at just about 100 grams with battery.

Handset supports dual SIM and sports a 4.7 inch OGS IPS screen that supports 960 x 540 pixels resolution (234ppi) with 5 point multi touch. The screen also comes with scratch resistant dragon trail glass. There is an 8 MP PureCel(TM) Sensor on the rear with flash and 2MP on the front.

Q900S runs on 4.3 but will get the KitKat update soon. There are 4 sensors – accelerometer, light, magnetic and proximity. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This phone comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support.

The 1800 mAh Li-po battery can be fully changed in about 2.4 hours and gives a talk time of up to 14 hours on 3G networks. XOLO Q900S running Android will hit the stores soon for Rs. 9,999.
