Two new quad core handsets got listed on the XOLO website – the XOLO Q700s Plus and the XOLO Q1000s Plus. The Q700s Plus is priced at Rs. 8,499 and the Q1000s Plus for Rs. 13,999. TheQ700s Plus runs Android KitKat where are the Q1000s Plus is running Jelly Bean.

The Q700s Plus (upgraded XOLO Q700s) supports dual SIM. It houses the MediaTek MT6582M quad core processor @ 1.3GHz with Mali 400 GPU. Handset is 8.9 mm thick and sports a 4.5 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It is IPS screen with 5 point multi touch support.

This handset runs Android 4.4.2 with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support. The rear camera is 8MP with flash and front camera of VGA resolution with native video calling support. There are accelerometer, light and proximity sensors. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The 1800 mAh battery that the handset comes packed with gives talk time of up to 8 hours on 3G networks.

The XOLO Q1000s Plus houses the 1.5GHz MediaTek Quad core turbo processor (MT6589T) coupled with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. Handset is 7.89mm thick and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (not word if it will get KitKat) with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is no external card support.

XOLO Q700s Plus and Q1000s Plus launched

The OGS IPS screen is 5 inches supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Apart from the usual sensors like accelerometer, light and proximity the Q1000s Plus also includes the magnetic sensor. There is a 13MP rear AF camera with BSI 2 sensors and a 5MP on the front. FHD video recording is supported. Q1000s Plus comes loaded with 3000 mAh Li-po battery that gives a talk-time of up to 15 hours on 3G networks.

XOLO Q700s Plus will hit the stores soon for Rs. 8,499 and the XOLO Q1000s Plus for Rs. 13,999.
