The XOLO Q1000S with 1.5GHz quad core processor and with a slim and sleek look (6.98mm thick) shows up on the XOLO website. This slim handset will hit the stores soon, for Rs. 18,999.

The XOLO Q1000S comes powered by the MediaTek Turbo processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with PowerVR SGX 544 GPU. This is the hardware that many users are looking for. The OGS IPS screen is 5 inches with 1280×720 pixels resolution.

Internal storage is 16GB and RAM is 1GB. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean runs the show. MediaTek 1.5GHz + HD screen and 1GB RAM is the perfect recipe for now, hopefully it will be priced right. It is a powerful handset packed into a slim body – dimensions are  147×72.1×6.98 mm. Q1000S weight is 158 grams.

The spec on the XOLO website does not specifically mention if the handset is dual SIM or single SIM. The phone image also shows single SIM. There are dual cameras a font camera of 5MP resolution with BSI sensor and another 13MP on the rear with LED flash and BSI 2 sensor. Full HD recording and playback supported. Front camera with BSI sounds cool.

There is accelerometer, proximity, magnetic and light sensors. Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, GPS and 3.5 mm audio jack. Battery is of 2500 mAh capacity that can be fully charged in up to 4 hours and  gives a talk time of a good 22 hours on 2G and up to 12 hours on 3G networks.
