Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 goes official in China starting from RMB 899

As expected Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 3 in China, today. The handset will be available in two variants – 2GB RAM / 16GB storage for RMB 899 (₹9,500) and 3GB RAM / 32GB storage for RMB 1099 (₹11,500). This smartphone sports a 5.5 inch screen and it does come with a finger print scanner.

The Redmi Note 3 indeed is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 64 bit octa core processor. MIUI 7 runs out of the box with 2GB / 3GB RAM (LPDDR3) and 16GB /32GB storage. Weight with battery is 164 grams and thickness is 8.6mm.

This handset sports a 5.5 inch screen (sunlight display) supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. In addition there is a 13MP primary camera with flash on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Key features are 4G (Dual SIM slots), 3G, WiFi, GPS, Touch ID based finger print scanner that unlock within 0.3 seconds and Bluetooth.

The Remdi Note 3 with an all metal body, houses a 4000 mAh battery. It is priced at RMB 899 with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and RMB 1099 with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage.
