Xiaomi brand is the number 1 smartphone brand in India – including for both online as well as offline markets, this is as per the reports from Counterpoint and Canalys. As per the reports the company sold 8.2 million smartphones.

Another exciting news is that as per The Economic Times, Reliance Jio is in talks with Xiaomi, as you all know Reliance is all set to get the Jio Broadband services in India and they feel Xiaomi Smart TV’s are a best combination.
Reliance Jio and Xiaomi are in talks – Jio wants exclusive rights to sell Xiaomi TV’s and Smartphones in India, if things go well they might even come up with Jio Broadband + Xiaomi TV bundled offer at compelling price.
Xiaomi is also all set to open their Next Mi Home store in Kolkata on 26th January.
