Videocon has launched the Z45 Nova+ smartphone that comes powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor and it’s running Android KitKat with 1GB RAM. This handset with 3G support is priced at Rs. 4,900.

The Videocon Z45 Nova+ houses a quad core processor (chipset unknown) clocked at 1.2 GHz. Z45 Nova+ sports a 4.5 inch screen – it’s an IPS capacitive touch screen with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution.

This is a dual SIM handset with 3G + 2G support and loaded with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage and micro SD card slot that supports of up to 32GB external cards. The handset is running Android 4.4 that is pretty much outdated. A 5MP camera with BSI sensor is placed on the rear with LED flash and there is 2MP front facing camera.

Additional features are 3G, 2G, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The 1800 mAh removable battery gives a decent backup time on a single charge.
