Videocon has launched another handset in the Infinium series it is called the Infinium Z40 quad. As the name suggests it is a quad core powered handset clocked at 1.3GHz and is priced at Rs. 5,500.

The Videocon Infinium Z40 Quad runs KitKat out of the box (Android 4.4.2) with 4 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM and external card support of up to 32 GB. This dual SIM handset sports a 4 inch screen supporting 800 x 480 pixels resolution.

The handset comes packed with dual cameras a 3.2 MP on the front – good for selfies and a 5 MP auto focus on the rear with LED flash support. The Infinium Z40 Quad probably is using the same 1.3GHz MediaTek quad core processor with Mali 400 GPU.

Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, FM radio with recording, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS with A-GPS support. There is LED notification and removable battery is 1400 mAh capacity. The Z40 Quad handset will be available in Black and White colour options for Rs. 5,500.
