Toshiba, today has launched a 4K laptop in India. The ultra HD 4K Toshiba Satellite P50t-B Y3110 sports a 15.6 inch touch screen display with 2160p resolution and is priced at Rs. 86,000 in India.
On the hardware front the Satellite P50t-B Y3110 houses the 4th gen Intel Core i7 processor (turbo boost i7-4700HQ) clocked at 2.5GHz. This laptop comes with a 15.6 inch screen, it is a touch screen and supports resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K).
This laptop with a slim body sails on Windows 8.1 out of the box with 8GB RAM and 1TB hard drive. The RAM is expandable up to 16GB. The GPU used on the P50t-B Y3110 is AMD Radeon R9 M265X with 2GB memory.
There are 4 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port with 4K support, a UHS-II card reader slot and built in Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth. It is a high end laptop meant for viewing and for creating Hi-Fi video content, and the first of its kind that can play 4K videos.
Along with the P50t Toshiba will also be launching the Satellite S40-B X3110 laptop with lower specifications i.e. Intel Core i5 powered clocked at 1.6GHz, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD and running Windows 8.1 on a 14 inch screen with 1080p resolution.
The Satellite S40-B X3110 is priced at approx Rs. 50K and the Toshiba Satellite P50t will hit the stores by end of this month for Rs. 86,000.
