Another Spice handset the Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 is now available for Rs. 15,499. This handset sports a 5.5 inch screen and is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor. The key highlight is the stylus with a slot.

Almost all of the low cost handsets that come with a stylus are actually capacitive stylus (sponge type material). The Micromax Doodle 2 came with a good stylus and probably we might find the same on the Spice Mi-550 handset.

However the dual SIM supported Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 is a little different as it comes with a stylus slot wherein the stylus can rest when not in use. This handset is 9.5mm thick and comes with a 5.5 inch TFT LCD screen with HD (1280×720 pixels) resolution (16M colors).

There is light, proximity, gyro and g-sensors. Spice Mi-550 is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (not sure if its MediaTek or Qualcomm). 1GB RAM is included along with 8GB internal storage + 32G micro SD card support. There is 8MP rear camera that can also record videos in full HD resolution at 30fps and a front camera of 2MP resolution.

Other common features are 3G,  2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. Mi-550 runs on Android 4.2 with 2500 mAh battery. The handset is listed on Saholic website for Rs. 15,499. Also check out Spice Mi-525 with FHD screen and Spice Mi-535.
