As expected the 3 new android mobiles from Spice has finally been launched. The Spice Mobile website is now showing the Spice Stellar handset which sports a 10 cm (3.9 inch) capacitive touchscreen with 5 MP auto focus camera. The handset comes secured with NQ Mobile Security app and is powered by a 1 GHz processor.

The Spice Stellar runs on Android 2.3 which can be later be upgraded to android 4.0. The Stellar is the Spice Mi-425 which we have been talking about for quite some time; it comes for a price tag of Rs. 9,999.  This handset is already listed on some online sites.

The other phone called the Mi-355 or Spice Stellar Craze will carry a price tag of Rs. 6,499 which also comes with 2.3 upgradeable to 4.0. This handset sports a rear 5 MP camera and a front VGA camera. The screen is 3.5 inch capacitive touch and battery is 1420 mAh. If you are wondering why this handset is so cheap, well it is powered by an 800 Mhz processor. It’s competitor, the Karbonn A7. Other features included are GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.

ICS powered Spice Stellar smartphone

And now for the handset we were waiting for, the Spice Stellar Horizon or the Mi-500. This one comes with a 5 inch touchscreen (capacitive), 512 MB RAM and with 4 Gigs of internal storage. The handset is powered by Snapdragon processor clocked at 1 GHz. This one too will come with host of common features like 5 MP camera (auto focus), 2.3 OS upgradeable to 4.0, dual SIM support, SRS audio sound, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS etc. This handset comes with 2150 mAh battery and priced at Rs. 11,990.

I am going to get this Mi-500 and will be doing a review on it. What impresses me is the Wide 5 inch screen size (Samsung Galaxy Note is 5.3 inch), for now we do not know the screen resolution but it could be similar or better than Mi-425.

The 425 is currently available and the Mi-500, Mi-355 will hit the store (or online) by June end. Stay tuned for more.
