Spice Mobiles have now launched the Spice Mi-425 a 1 GHz powered dual SIM phone with a 5 MP camera running Android 2.3 which can be further upgraded to Android 4.0. On the first look, you will realise that you have seen this handset before.

Yes the Mi-425 has a surprisingly similar resemblance with the Karbonn A9, the affordable 1 GHz smartphone. The Mi-425 specifications are very similar to the A9, but there are some few changes that Spice has made to make it better than the A9.

Features
This handset is powered by a single core 1 GHz processor loaded with Android 2.3. The best part here is that the handset is upgradeable to ICS (Android 4.0). This smartphone supports dual SIM and 3G.

The full touch screen display is 4 inches in size with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (IPS) using the capacitive technology. The display quality is as good as seen on A9. The front side houses a VGA camera and the rear side sports a 5 MP auto focus camera with LED flash. The internal memory is 140 MB and expandable memory is supported of up to 32 GB.
