A 4 inch android smartphone, the Spice Mi-422 running on ICS with dual SIM capabilities shows up on the Flipkart website with a coming soon status. The handset seems like an entry level with single core processor clocked at 1GHz.
The 4 inch capacitive touchscreen supports 800×480 pixel resolution. The Spice handset supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM) and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS with 512MB RAM. The internal storage is I guess will be around 203 MB free for users (of the 512MB).
The Mi-422 does not support 3G. There are dual cameras a 1.3MP secondary camera and a 3.2MP primary (rear) camera with LED flash. Other features are Wi-Fi, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port. There is also a built in FM radio receiver.
The Spice Mi-422 Smart Flo Pace handset looks good with 3 dedicated touch sensitive buttons on the front panel. The price is not known but looking at the specifications it will be good of it is under Rs. 5,500. Via Flipkart.
