Sony has released another Xperia model called the Xperia M2 dual with a price tag of Rs. 21,990. The M2 dual  (upgraded version of Xperia M) is a dual SIM handset powered by Snapdragon 400 quad core processor. The M2 Dual will be available in 3 different colors.

Sony Xperia M2 dual was announced at the MWC earlier, and now it has been launched in India. Inside the hood the M2 dual houses Qualcomm quad core MSM8226 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 305 GPU – same hardware that is used on the Moto G. Handset runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with 8GB internal storage, 32GB external card support and 1GB RAM.

The M2 dual comes with 4.8 inch TFT screen with qHD (960 x 540 pixels) resolution. Handset weight is 148 grams and thickness is 8.6mm. There are dual cameras. A rear camera of 8MP and a front camera of VGA resolution. Full HD videos can be recorded using the rear camera and the hardware can easily play FHD videos.

Other features are 3G (H+), 2G, GPS with GLONASS/ A-GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi with hotspot / direct , DLNA and Bluetooth 4.0. There is a 2300 mAh battery that gives talk-time of up to 14 hours. On a full charge the handset can play videos for almost 8 hours.

Sony Xperia M2 Dual will hit the stores soon for a price tag of Rs. 21,990.
