Sony Xperia C4 64 bit MediaTek Octa Core powered handset launched

Sony Mobiles has launched the next gen PROselfie smartphone, the Sony Xperia C4 that will be available in single as well as dual SIM options. This handset is powered by 1.7GHz 64 bit octa core processor and its running Lollipop out of the box.

Sony Xperia C4 weighs about 147 grams and is 7.9mm thick. It runs Android Lollipop version 5.0 over a 5.5 inch IPS screen (Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2) with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. This handset comes loaded with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 128GB external micro SD card support.

When it comes to the camera the Xperia C4 houses a 13MP AF camera with EXMOR R sensor on the rear and a 5MP camera with EXMOR R sensor on the front. There is LED flash support for both front as well as rear camera.

C4 is using the MediaTek MT6752 – 1.7GHz 64 bit octa core processor with Mali 760 MP2 GPU. Other features are Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA, NFC, GPS with GLONASS, Clear Bass, 3D sound, xLOUD experience, 4G (in selected markets), 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi.

This handset comes with a 2600 mAh battery that gives up to 12 hours of talk time on a single charge. The Sony Xperia C4, single / dual SIM price has not yet been disclosed. It will hit the stores in June 2015.
