Sony BRAVIA BZ-P Professional Displays in India: Price, Models and Features

Sony India’s BRAVIA BZ-P professional display range brings 16 models in sizes from 43 to 85 inches, with a starting MRP of ₹1,40,000. These 4K HDR screens are aimed at offices, classrooms, shops, transport hubs and public spaces. The focus is on readable signage, glare control and installation flexibility rather than a living-room TV experience.

Sony BRAVIA BZ-P price in India

The BZ-P series is available through Sony’s authorised professional distribution network in India. The starting MRP applies to the range; pricing varies with model, size and configuration. Individual model-wise MRPs have not been announced in the India update.

There are three tiers: the flagship BZ40P, enhanced BZ35P and core BZ30P. Choosing between them mainly comes down to screen size, brightness, anti-glare treatment and the installation environment.

BZ40P, BZ35P and BZ30P: what changes?

The BZ35P and BZ30P each offer six sizes, while the BZ40P offers four. The 700-nit flagship is positioned for brighter environments. IP5X dust resistance is specified for the BZ40P and BZ35P, not for the BZ30P in this announcement.

Deep Black Non-Glare and picture processing

Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare treatment combines anti-reflection and anti-glare technology to reduce distracting reflections while retaining contrast. The standard treatment on BZ35P and BZ30P has a 25% haze value.

The premium BZ40P treatment has a 47% haze value on the 55, 65 and 75-inch models. The 85-inch FW-85BZ40P is rated at 52%, so the flagship range does not have one identical anti-glare specification across all sizes.

The range uses Sony’s XR processor with AI-based signal processing. Wide viewing angles are also part of the design, which is useful when people view a noticeboard, classroom screen or shop display from different positions.

Built for signage and commercial installations

The BZ-P series has a thin, light chassis with narrow bezels and supports portrait and video-wall installations. Centred VESA mounting holes help with mounting alignment, while the 75 and 85-inch versions include in-chassis handles for easier handling during installation.

An integrated system-on-chip platform can run supported signage applications without an extra set-top box. Sony has also updated the user interface and setup programme, with compatibility testing for content management systems. Application support should be matched to the intended deployment rather than assumed from the screen size alone.

Power consumption and recycled materials

Sony claims up to 31% lower power consumption than the previous BZ-L generation. That figure specifically compares the FW-55BZ40P with the FW-55BZ40L; it should not be treated as a guaranteed saving for every size or installation.

Selected models use Sony’s SORPLAS recycled plastic, reaching up to 43%, while an ECO Dashboard brings energy-related settings together. The range is ENERGY STAR certified, with EPEAT registration listed as pending. Actual power use will depend on the selected model, brightness and operating conditions.
