Camera

t.phone comes with a 13MP camera on the rear and a 4MP camera on the front. The primary camera can shoot 4K videos. Camera quality is just about average, it needs a lot of improvement. Do check the sample images and videos at the end of this review.

Others

Sound is loud and clear and much better thanks to DTS premium sound with DTS PlayFi. I did not find any issues with 4G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. There is no finger print sensor on this handset, unfortunately.

Another unique thing about the Smartron t.phone is the t.cloud access with unlimited cloud storage, t.store IOT market place and t.care your remote care app.

Battery

There is a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. It does a good job you can expect 4 to 7 hours of non-stop moderate to heavy usage. On a full charge the handset will last for a day with moderate usage.

Fast charging supported – it took me 1 hour 25 minutes to charge the handset using wall charger from 7% to 100%.

Verdict

Smartron t.phone looks beautiful and the overall performance is also impressive. There are two issue – the camera quality, needs  a lot of improvement and the other issue is the price. Being a new company they should have cooled down on the price.

Rating 3.8 out of 5.
