The Smart Namo handset (dedicated to Narendra Modi) will hit the stores soon. The company facebook page now shows some new images of the proposed handset which surprisingly is similar to the UMI X2.

You can check the Smart Namo image below and compare it with the UMI X2 images. You can also check the UMI X2 (1.2GHz MT6589) review. The Smart Namo comes with 1.5GHz MT6589T processor with 1GB RAM and 16/32/64GB options. It runs on Android 4.2 and sports a 5 inch OGS tempered screen with FHD resolution. There is 13MP rear camera with LED flash and battery is of 2500 mAh capacity.

The dual SIM Smart Namo will be priced from Rs. 16,000 for the 16GB version. The special and limited signature edition (Phone with Narendra Modi’s signature) will be auctioned on ebay.

AndroidGuruz is/was already selling the UMI X2 and many of you already know the pathetic sales, let’s not talk about the after sales. Fortunately Smart Namo is in no way associated with AndroidGuruz. Smart Namo is sourcing their handset from Taiwan and not china, only the shell casing is made in China.

Many users many not be comfortable with the Pre-booking (based on past experience), so wait for the stocks.
