Samsung Mobiles today launched the Galaxy Tab S2 tablet that houses an octa core processor and sports a 9.7 inch screen. This tablet supports 4G and is running Lollipop out of the box. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is priced at ₹39,400.

The Tab S2 as mentioned is octa core powered using the Samsung Exynos 5433 chipset coupled with Mali T760 GPU. Android Lollipop 5.0 runs the show with TouchWiz UI. Screen is 9.7 inches supporting 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, and it’s a Super AMOLED display. Screen aspect ratio is 4:3 perfect for reading.

Tab S2 weight is 392 grams with built in battery and thickness is 5.6mm. There is 3GB onboard LPDDR3 RAM, 32GB internal storage and a micro SD card slot that supports up to 128GB external cards.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 also comes with an 8MP auto focus camera packed on the rear and a 2.1MP camera on the front. Rear camera can record 2560 x 1440 videos. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Finger print scanner, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi.

The Tab S2 gets power from a 5870 mAh non-removable battery. It will be available in White, Black and Gold colour options for ₹39,400.
