There were rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini floating around and now here is one more with the photo and the specifications. Samsung probably will launch the trimmed down version of the Galaxy S5, they may call it the Galaxy S5 mini.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 failed to live up to the expectation especially because of the price tag. With the S5 Mini, Samsung might probably try to reclaim its market share. As per the latest reports Sammobile, have got few images of most likely Galaxy S5 mini.
Look wise it is hard to differentiate between the S5 and the Mini. They both follow the same design pattern including the dotted textures on the rear. Moreover it seems the S5 Mini will also comes with heart rate sensor and finger print scanner.
The S5 mini will be powered by 1.4GHz Exynos 3 quad core processor (Exynos 3470) with Mali 400 MP4 GPU. The GPU is clocked at 450MHz. The super AMOLED screen will be of 4.5 inches supporting resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Handset will run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage, plus with a micro SD card slot.
Other features are 8MP rear AF camera with LED and 2MP front camera. The battery is Li-ion with 2100 mAh capacity. Samsung might reveal this handset pretty soon within few weeks or month or two.
