Samsung today launched two new affordable smartphones in India, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace and the Samsung Galaxy J1 4G in the Galaxy J series. The J1 4G features super AMOLED screen and the J2 Ace comes with a TFT screen.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace features and specifications

The Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 1.4GHz quad core processor (chipset unknown). It sails on Android 6.0 with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 256GB external micro SD card support. The J2 Ace sports a 5 inch TFT screen with qHD (960 x 540p) resolution.

Also included is a 8MP camera on the back and 5MP on the front. Rear camera is auto focus and front camera is fixed focus – both cameras come with f/2.2 aperture. Other features are 4G, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS and WiFi. J2 Ace houses  a 2600 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace is priced at Rs. 8,490.

Samsung Galaxy J1 4G features and specifications

This handset comes with a 4.5 inch super AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution. J1 4G is powered by 1.3GHz unknown quad core processor and packed with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 128GB external micro SD card support.

Samsung Galaxy J1 4G sails on Android 5.1 Lollipop. There is a back camera of 5MP resolution (f/2.2) and front camera is 2MP (f/2.2). Key features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. A 2050 mAh battery powers up the J1 4G.

Samsung Galaxy J1 4G is priced at Rs. 6,890.

Both these handsets are loaded with 2 sensors accelerometer and  proximity, J1 4G and J2 Ace will hit the stores in India from 16th January 2017.
