Samsung Electronics has announced the Galaxy Core LTE (4G) optimized for performance, with a premium design and is 4G enabled.  This handset houses a dual core processor and comes with a 4.5 inch screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Core 4G LTE is 9.8mm thick following the traditional Samsung design pattern. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor (chipset unknown). Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean plus runs out of the box.

There is 1GB on board RAM with 8GB internal storage space along with 64GB of external card support. The Galaxy Core 4G also houses a VGA camera on the front and 5MP rear facing camera that is Auto Focus with LED flash support.

The TFT PLS screen is 4.5 inches supporting qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels).  Other features are 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC with S-Beam, USB 2.0 and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.

The removable battery is of 2100 mAh capacity. This handset also comes loaded with ChatOn, Samsung Apps, Kies easy mode, SwiftKey app, S Travel / Translator / Voice and Motion UI.

The Samsung Galaxy Core 4G LTE will be available in selected countries in Asia. No word about the pricing in India. The Galaxy Core Plus and the Galaxy Core Advance are other handsets in the Core family that were in the news recently.
