The Galaxy Core 2 that comes powered by quad core processor running Android 4.4 out of the box over a 4.5 inch screen is now available for Rs. 12,150. This is upgraded version of Galaxy Core and was first leaked in April this year.

The Core 2 runs KitKat on a capacitive touch screen of 4.5 inches with WVGA (800 x 480p) resolution. It is a dual SIM handset that comes with 512MB RAM (as mentioned on Infibeam – I think it should be 768MB), 4GB storage and 64GB external card support. A 5MP auto focus camera is tucked on the back with LED flash and a VGA on the front.

Key features are 3G (42.2Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB. There are light, proximity, accelerometer and magnetic sensors. This handset is powered by quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (chipset unknown).
