Octa core powered Samsung Galaxy A7 goes official

Samsung Galaxy A7 is now official launched in Philippines for PHP (Philippine Peso) 24K approx Rs. 34K. This handset sports a 5.5 inch screen and is running KitKat with 2GB RAM. The A7 is powered by MSM8939 Octa core processor.

Galaxy A7 is octa core powered using 2 x Quad core chipset Cortex A53 clocked at 1.5GHz and another at 1GHz – with Adreno 405 GPU. KitKat 4.4.4 runs out of the box with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 64GB micro SD card support. Like all other premium Galaxy handsets the A7 also comes with a super AMOLED screen of 5.5 inches with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

The handset also includes a 12MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP on the front. The primary camera can shoot videos in 1080p resolution. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. There is NFC support too.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (weighs about 133 grams and is 6.7mm thick) comes with a 2600 mAh built in Li-ion battery and for now available in Philippines for approx Rs. 34K. Samsung recently launched series of handsets in India; there is no word about the A7 availability in India.
