After Lin Bin leaked the image of a smartphone that was presumed to be the Redmi Note 2 Pro, Lin Bin confirmed that the smartphone will not be called the Note 2 Pro instead it will be called the Redmi Note 3.

The Xiaomi Note 3 is upgraded version of the Note 2. Note 3 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek MT6795 (Helio X10 64 bit octa core chipset) with PowerVR G6200 GPU. This handset will be running MIUI over a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080p (Full HD) resolution.

This handset will come with dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support and will be loaded with 2GB RAM/16GB storage or (optional) 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. External micro SD support is also expected. The battery capacity is not yet known (probably over 3000 mAh) , but expected features are 4G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Fingerprint scanner and WiFi.

Watch out for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 launched tomorrow in China, unfortunately we may not see this handset launching in the Indian markets because of Xiaomi – Ericsson issues.
