Qualcomm will soon launch entry level Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 64 bit architecture. The Snapdragon 410 will be using the 28nm technology and supposed to come with a cheaper price tag  – it will be used on entry level phones probably priced under $200.

The 410 processor will be made available by mid 2014. As mentioned it will use the 28nm technology with 64 bit architecture. This chipset will support full HD playback and recording. Max 13 megapixel camera resolution is supported.

The chipset will be using the Adreno 306 GPU. Moreover this chipset will support 4G LTG / 3G networks. Manufactures can choose to use single, dual and triple SIM’s. Other key features are built in FM, NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. There is GPS too with GLONASS and BeiDou support.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64 chipset

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 will support Windows phone, Android OS and Firefox OS. Jeff Lorbeck Senior VP, Qualcomm Technologies said that they are excited with the new 410 chipset (the first of its kind with a 64 bit capabilities) not only for its features including 4G support but cost point too.
