Inside the box you will find the P660 handset, screen guard, SIM tray ejector pin, user guide, warranty card, data cable and travel charger (5V ~ 1A). SAR value as mentioned on the box – 0.929 W/kg.

Design, Display and OS
The Phicomm P660 looks really great, premium and unique. The handset is slim, light weight and has got a rectangular design. Even though the handset is rectangular there are no sharp edges. The side are curvy and body fully packed.

Memory and Storage
There is 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Of the 2GB RAM you will get about 1.2GB free on the first boot and of the 16GB storage there is about 13GB space for apps. There is micro SD card slot, however apps are getting installed on the internal storage. OTG is not supported, I was not able to access the content of OTG pen drive.

Performance
This smartphone houses the qualcomm snapdragon 615 2nd gen 64 bit cortex A53 octa core (MSM8916) processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU. Performance is smooth and handset does not heat up much.

Benchmark

Benchmark App Score
Quadrant 17735
Antutu (64 bit) 1st – 28746 , 2nd – 28234
Nenamark 2 59.5 fps
Multi touch 5 point

Gaming
I tried Asphalt 8, this game got installed on the internal storage. I did not find any issues, the game was playable in high visual quality mode.

Camera
The camera quality is disappointing. There is a 13MP AF camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. It takes time to focus objects and the minimum focus distance is more than as compared with other handsets.

Rear camera can shoot FHD videos but when using video mode auto focus / manual focus does not work, it shoots in fixed focus mode. The camera interface is different and there is no HDR option.

Check the sample images and videos at the end. Camera quality is not up to the mark.

Others
No other issues found with 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and GPS. 4G worked – I am using Airtel 4G in Mumbai. Sound is loud and clear.

You will not be able to access the full content on the internal storage once the handset is connected to PC, you can only access the photo and videos you shot using this handset.

Battery
There is 2300 mAh built in battery. Battery backup is also not that great.

Performance Time Battery drop % Battery Max Temp
Benchmark 11 Minutes 10% 38 degree
Gaming 20 Minutes 15% 38 degree
FHD movie play with full brightness + Wi-Fi on 26 minutes 9% 34 degree
Wall Charge (on standby) Less than 3 hours 18% to 100% (charge) 34 degree

Verdict
This could have been a very good competitor to the Xiaomi Mi 4i had it not been for the camera quality and the battery performance. The P660 is currently priced at Rs. 10,999. It would be better to look for some other option or go for the Mi 4i.

Phicomm Passion 660 will go on sale today on Amazon.in for Rs. 10,999.
