Panasonic has launched a low budget smartphone called the Panasonic T9 for Rs. 3,949. This handset is powered by dual core processor and runs KitKat out of the box. The T9 does not support 3G networks.

The Panasonic T9 is another low cost dual SIM handset for under Rs. 4,000. It doesn’t come loaded with high end feature but for the price it is good enough. It houses a dual core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

KitKat Android 4.4.2 runs the show over a 3.5 inch screen with minimal resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. There is 512MB RAM and 4 Gigs of internal storage. The micro USB card supports 32GB external cards.

There are dual cameras. Primary camera is of 2MP resolution and secondary camera is of VGA resolution. Both the cameras are fixed focus. Addition features are 2G (EDGE / GPRS), Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth and micro USB port.

3G and GPS are missing. The T9 gets power from a 1300 mAh Li-ion battery. Panasonic T9 smartphone is listed on Snapdeal for Rs. 3,949.
