OPPO Mobiles launched a new handset in the A Series called the OPPO A59 in the Chinese markets for RMB 1799 that comes to Rs. 18K approx. Key highlight is 3GB RAM, finger print sensor, 4G with VoLTE support and 3075 mAh battery.
This hybrid dual SIM smartphone houses the MediaTek MT6750 octa core processor @ 1.5GHz coupled with Mali T860 GPU. A59 sports a 5.5 inch screen with 2.5D curved glass supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
Android Lollipop runs the show with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage (ROM) and 128GB micro SD card support. OPPO A59 wight is 160 grams with 3075 mAh non-removable battery and thickness is 7.3mm.
On the back there is a 13MP PDAF camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support. On the front you will find a 8MP fixed focus camera. Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, OTG, WiFi (dual band), Finger print sensor on the front and Bluetooth version 4.1.
OPPO A59 price in China is RMB 1799 (Rs. 18K approx), no word about its launch in India.
