Ola has launched what they call Play which is a connected car platform that offers in-car experience to users like never before. In simple terms Ola users via Ola Play will be able to control the car A/C, Music etc.

This new service called Ola Play is mainly targeted towards business users, in fact the service for now will be made available on Ola Prime Vehicles, the company is planning to extend it to over 50K Ola Prime vehicles by March 2017. Play will be available in selected cities (Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore) starting today for Ola Select users.

This Play platform is first of its kind to be build by the company in partnership with Qualcomm. For entertainment the company has partnered with Sony Picture India and Apple. Ola Play will be using Snapdragon processor that will help users control most of the features in the car – for example the radio station, music, AC etc.  Apart from this the users can also experience high speed net in the cab.
