Nokia has now launched the Nokia 114 a low end, low cost dual SIM phone with social networking apps like Facebook pre-loaded. It is a simple basic phone with alphanumeric keypad with a price tag of under Rs. 3,000.

The Nokia 114 weighs just 80 grams with a 14.8 mm thickness. The display resolution is at a very low 160×128 pixels on a 1.79 inch LCD screen. As mentioned it is a low end handset with a non-touchscreen display with alphanumeric keypad.

The handset does not support 3G instead you will have to do with the 2G network that includes GPRS and EDGE/EGPRS. The speed is more than sufficient for staying in touch with your social friends on the move.

The Nokia 114 comes with 16MB RAM and 64MB internal storage. Micro SD card of up to 32GB is supported. The handset runs on the Series 40 platform with java supported. Other features are a 0.3MP rear camera with 4x zoom and video recording, Noise cancellation supported, built in FM, Nokia web browser, SNS ready (Twitter, Facebook chat, Windows Live Messenger, Nokia Chat), java games and Bluetooth 2.1.

A BL-5C battery of 1020 mAh capacity gives a standby time of about 637 hours and talktime of about 10 hours. You can even play continuous music for almost over a day.
